Stellana is EUDR Ready
Meeting the European Union’s New Deforestation Standards
As part of our commitment to sustainability, Stellana is fully prepared to meet the requirements of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Set to come into effect in late 2025, the EUDR aims to combat deforestation and forest degradation linked to the European market, mandating that products exported into the EU cannot originate from lands deforested or degraded after December 31, 2020. Stellana is proud to lead with proactive measures to support this important initiative.
Our EUDR Compliance Actions
To provide confidence and meet the EUDR standards for our partners and customers, we’ve implemented a series of compliance measures:
- Due Diligence: Stellana’s products are traceable from the source, providing assurance that the rubber we supply does not contribute to deforestation. Under the EUDR, European customers will require documentation to validate this traceability. The Operator will upload relevant data into the Due Diligence System (DDS), ensuring full transparency and adherence to EUDR requirements.
- Traceability of Rubber Lands: Stellana offers complete traceability of our rubber supply chain. We can provide a polygon view of each rubber lot, allowing customers to see the specific rubber plantations from which we source for our EU exports. This advanced level of traceability ensures our customers have clear, accurate data regarding the origin of their products.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Stellana is prepared to supply EU customers with detailed documentation upon request, including risk assessments, origin declarations, and certifications of sustainable practices. This ensures that each product meets the stringent environmental and ethical standards set by EUDR.
Supporting Our Customers’ Sustainability Goals
Stellana is dedicated to providing products that not only meet performance expectations but also align with global environmental initiatives. By taking these proactive steps, we are helping our partners prepare for EUDR compliance, equipping them with the documentation and traceability they need to meet evolving standards in the EU market.
